Morphic's Wind Business

The Group’s wind power operations are conducted by DynaWind. The product offering ranges from individual turbines in the 1 and 3.0 MW and larger categories up to entire wind parks.

The strength of Morphic’s wind business lies in its comprehensive product offering in wind power. The portfolio includes wind turbines for different markets and wind classes, both onshore and offshore. DynaWind’s 1and 3 MW turbines have high rates of energy recovery and accessibility and minimal servicing requirements.

The customers include energy companies as well as small-scale industrial enterprises and private individuals. Morphic recently signed a statement of intent for a partnership with Vattenfall, the largest investor in renewable energy in the Nordic region. Major works in progress include the Uljabuouda Wind Park in Arjeplog in northern Sweden, the first major installation in an Arctic climate, and the Lake Vänern Wind Park.

Production Capacity

The turbine towers are manufactured at DynaWind’s production plant on the Gustavsvik industrial estate in Kristinehamn, Sweden. Annual production capacity is about 100 towers. Key components are also produced at Morphic’s production facility in Filipstad.

Service

24/7 remote monitoring and regular retrieval and analysis of operational data are standard features of all Morphic turbines. Morphic has a complete service organization based in Kristinehamn that is able to provide support for our customers at short notice.

Partnership with WinWinD Oy

DynaWind’s operations are to a large extent conducted under a partnership agreement with WinWinD of Finland, which gives DynaWind an exclusive right to WinWinD’s unique turbine technology in the Swedish market and a non-exclusive right in the Norwegian market.

Partner to Kenersys GmbH

Morphic is a preferred supplier to Kenersys GmbH of Germany for the production of towers.
